Fall Tips for Garden Cleanup and Lawn Preparation

For gardeners dedicated to the best garden care, fall is often a time for cleanup and preparation more than growing. Getting a lawn fertilized for fall can help it get ready to grow green in the winter. Greenhouse and outdoor plants that have had rotted plants fall off should get a cleanup before the cold weather to keep from contracting some nastiness in the soil.

Getting an indoor greenhouse going is not the only option for gardening inside once the weather turns cold. Other options include hydroponics and aeroponic systems, or you can just grow some plants in the sunniest of windowsills, though low lit areas may need a little help for the plants with some plant lights or other lighting to bring up the light that makes plants grow and stay green and healthy even if the weather is chill outside.
